As of yesterday, i've gotten to five hundred pages. and it only took me a year to do . i'm at 1100 or so pages written out and i'm so ready to be done.
My book is called The Puppet Mistress of the Night Court and it's about a girl named Lucid (Lucy) who is learning how to live again and get herself back together, when weird things start happening. No one is exactly who they say they are and things aren't as they seem. At first the name of the book probably won't make sense but i've broken it up every hundred pages or so.
it's got vampires and shifters and a full range of stuff that seems like it should be fun. i love the characters i've been working on them so long sometimes i expect to see them walking down the street. that's how real they seem to me now. i'm probably going to have to break the book up into different books which makes me glad i broke it up into parts as i went.
